  1. “NATIONAL” was the National Trust HQ. At night the sign flashed NATIONAL with TRUST on neon tubing. Quite visible in my old neighbourhood.

  2. My late father worked in that building from the late 1950’s to the 1970’s. I remember my mom saying he would keep his office window down for fresh air in the summer. He would come home and apparently his nose hairs were burned off from breathing in all the pollution from those big 8 cylinder no pollution control cars everyone drove.
